Desktop and laptop computers used to access eContact and our new Offline Check-In tool both read barcode information encoded by eContact, created in an eContact event invitation.
To read the barcode back in, you'll need to use a reader that supports input mimicking keyboard data entry. This includes the common USB HID devices you see you in your Consular Offices and mailrooms, but not the specialized cordless data collectors used with ILMS Asset Management.
