How To Register a New Decoder Without ATLAS Directory
Non-Directory users will see the page below upon accessing ATLAS Directory. To proceed, click on Activate AFN Decoder and then Register New Decoder.
How To Register a New Decoder Within ATLAS Directory
ATLAS Directory users must go to My Profile, select the AFN Tab, and the click Submit a New AFN Activation Request. (See figure below.)
Complete New Decoder Form
On the Activation page, complete all the fields. Note: Work phone, Decoder S/N, Manufacturer, and ID are mandatory fields.
When you select the AFN Representative at Post, you’ll be able to see the list of current AFN Representatives for that post at the bottom of the page.
Confirm your information and then click Save Changes.
Repeat the steps above if you need to activate more than one decoder.
The registration will be added to your list of requests (My AFN Decoders page) with a Pending status. Once the AFN Representative has Approved the request, you will receive a notification in your mailbox.
AFN Activation Requests
You may now proceed to the next step. Go back to your AFN Activation Requests list page, or use the link in the notifications email and click on the arrow to complete the decoder activation on the My AFN Website.
Non-Directory users will see the page below :
Directory users can check their list of decoders from My Profile >AFN Tab.
Note: You can see all your past and current requests from the list of requests page. You also have the option to renew, delete (Personal decoders only) and deactivate (only Approved requests) items here.
Deactivation must be completed on the My AFN Website.
Confirm your information is correct and click Complete AFN Activation.
MyAFN Requests
Read the Terms and Conditions and click on Continue. Then choose the first option as shown below. Register and activate or renew my decoder’s registration.
Enter the required information in the appropriate section depending on the decoder manufacturer (Cisco, Digital Glue, or Harmonic).
Continue to the next page to enter the required user information. Select Agree with the Terms of Service and click on Next to proceed and complete the process.
