Management of Groups - Add, Edit, Remove Follow

Management of Groups

In order to be able to Manage the Groups within your Organization/Post you must have the following assigned permissions : Manage Groups & Permissions, when you have received those permissions the following actions can be performed for managing groups :

  • Adding a Group
  • Editing a Group
  • Removing a Group

Adding a Group

To add a Group to your Organization/Post then make sure to follow the steps that are outlined below :

1. From the Dashboard menu drop-down select Post Management

2. From the Left navigation pane select Manage Permissions, this will open the (Post Name) Permissions form

3. Within the section named Service Provider Groups click on the Add New Group button, this will open a pop-up form named Add Service Provider Group

4. Enter the Name of the Group that you wish to create in the Name field (yellow background) and click on the Create button, this will open the Service Provider Group Permissions form

5. From the Service Provider Group Permissions form you can start assigning the necessary permissions for the newly created Group and you can also add the users that need to be part of this newly created Group. To assign permissions to this group click on the Edit button, when done click on Update

Editing a Group

To Edit a Group from your Organization/Post then make sure to follow the steps that are outlined below :

1. From the Dashboard menu drop-down select Post Management

2. From the Left navigation pane select Manage Permissions, this will open the (Post Name) Permissions form

3. Within the section named Service Provider Groups enter the name or part of the name of the Group in the Search text-box and then click on the Permission button so that you can edit some of the permissions for the selected Group

4. From the Service Provider Group Permissions form make the necessary changes to either the Post Management or Post Data Access Permissions by clicking on the Edit button, when finished click on the Update button

Removing a Group

To remove a Group from your Organization/Post then make sure to follow the steps that are outlined below :

1. From the Dashboard menu drop-down select Post Management

2. From the Left navigation pane select Manage Permissions, this will open the (Post Name) Permissions form

3.  Within the section named Service Provider Groups enter the name or part of the name of the Group in the Search text-box and then click on the Delete button

4. Confirm the removal of the Group by clicking on the OK button
