Management of Group membership

In order to be able to Manage the members (users) within a specific group then one must have the following assigned permissions : Manage Groups & Permissions, when you have received those permissions the following actions can be performed for managing groups :

  • Add a member/members to a Group
  • Remove a member/members from a Group

Add a member/members to a  Group

To add a member or members to a Group then make sure to follow the steps that are outlined below:

1. From the Dashboard menu drop-down select Post Management

2. From the Left navigation pane select Manage Permissions, this will open the (Post Name) Permissions form

3.  Search for the group for which you want to add a member or members to by entering the name or part of the name of that group in the search text-box and then click on the Users button that will open the Service Providers Group Users form

4. From the Service Provider Group Users form click on the Add User link which will open the Find User pop-up form allowing you to search for a specific user

5. Enter the full name or part of the name in the search text-box and click on the Search button to perform your search

6. When you have found the name of the user that needs to be a member of the Service Provider Group then click on the Select button in order to add the selected User to the Service Provider Group (in this example the Brussels CST Admin Group)

7. The selected user has been added to the Group named Brussels CST Admin

 Remove a member/members from a Group

To remove a member/members from a Group then make sure to follow the steps that are outlined below:

1. From the Dashboard menu drop-down select Post Management

2. From the Left navigation pane select Manage Permissions, this will open the (Post Name) Permissions form

3. Search for the group for which you want to remove a member or members from by entering the name or part of the name of that group in the search text-box and then click on the Users button that will open the Service Providers Group Users form

4.  Search for the user that you wish to remove from the Service Provider Group by entering the name or part of the name of the user in the search text-box and then click on the Delete button, you will then be prompted to confirm the deletion 

5. Confirm deletion by clicking on the OK button
