Released: December 19th 2018
Tasks can now be configured to be required or optional, and if a task is not required, an assigned user may opt out the optional task by selecting “Not Applicable” and then completing the task item.
Deadlines have been available in processes from the beginning, but now you can configure notifications to be sent when a deadline is approaching or when a deadline has passed. These can be configured to send email notifications to a variety of users or a system notification can also be created.
Milestones are a new concept for tracking the completion of high value tasks and sub processes throughout an employee's process. They can be used across multiple processes to compare how far along employees are in their respective processes. These are created at an organization level and then can be set for individual tasks or sub processes.
Printable Task List
The task list in a process for an individual’s assignment now has a print view that displays the tasks in a simplified list that has been optimized for printing from the system. It has been identified to provide similar functionality in the future for tasks in the administrator’s process management task list.
Household Member Arrival Dates
Arrival dates can now be set for individual members of an employee’s household if they differ from the employee’s arrival date. This functionality applies to both when managing an employee’s household composition, and also when managing an employee’s arrival date.
Sub Process Permissions
Permissions can now be set for sub processes that will be inherited by all tasks inside of the sub process. This simplifies setting the permissions for a group of like task items that will be completed by the same individuals.
Permissions for All Remaining Service Providers
Service Provider permissions are set for each task item with the assumption that all service provider groups not given “View” or “View/Edit” will not have any access to the completion of the task or the data associated with completion. Now you can change that assumption so that all remaining service providers that weren’t already given access, can be provided “View” or “View/Edit” permissions.
An employee’s position can now be changed at a particular post without having to create a new assignment. This can be done from the assignment details page next to the position name.
Additional Bug Fixes
Release v1.17.0 includes a number of bug fixes reported by service providers. Additional communication to service providers will occur in response to any open Zendesk help tickets.
