How to Manage Positions in a Post? Follow

Introduction

A Post Service Provider user can add Positions to a post. These Positions information can be used in an assignment by employee.

A Service Provider(SP) has higher privileges in ADS application can add, Filter & view and delete Positions. Login as SP to ADS application. From the Service Provider Dashboard, SP may select the “Positions” menu. Please see Figure-1 below

View All Positions In a Post

When the “Positions” menu is selected from the left navigation, the “All Positions ” management page is displayed. Please see Figure-2 below.

All current Active Positions are displayed in the page

The “New” button at the top left will allow the SP to add a new Position.

The View image in green box will allow the SP to view the selected Position.

The Edit image in green box will allow the SP to view the selected Position.

An SP can Delete a Position.

A positions can be "Deleted" by selecting the down ellipses and then the "Delete" option.

A "Note" can be added to a position record  by selecting the down ellipses and then the "Note" option.

 

Add New Positions to a Post

The “Add New” button at the top-left of the page can be used to add new Positions . Please Figure-4 below. The following are the required fields for this User Interface:

  • Position Number
  • Position Title
  • Status

Language Skills can be added to the Position by selecting "Add Language" button. Multiple  Languages can be added along with Reading and Writing rating.  Please Figure-3 below.

Also Notes can be added to a position. Please Figure-3 below.

Once all the Position data is added, the position can be saved by selecting the "Add" button.

Once a Position is Saved, its Position number cannot be edited

Edit a Position In a Post

The user Interface for position is almost like the New Position UI like in Figure-3. When Editing a position, the user cannot update the position number. The position's Title, Office, Detail Information, Languages and Notes can be updated. Also, the Status can be updated to the following:

  • Active
  • Initiated
  • Closed

View a Position In a Post

Each Position can be viewed by selecting the "View" image button of the row. This user interface will show historical data like all the previous Incumbents and current Incumbents. Also the Notes added for the position is also displayed on the page. The user is allowed to delete a Note by selecting the "Delete" for each notes. Please see Image-4 below

ADS also have features to export Positions data information to an excel or .csv file.
