How do I log in to ADS?
There are two different accounts possible to log in to Arrival and Departure System. If you are working for the Department of State your Department of State issued account (state.gov account) is the preferred account, you also can request an ADG issued account if you are not able to connect to Opennet, e.g. if you are on home leave or transition for a longer time and your state.gov account is disabled. If you work for an other Agency we can create and ADG issued account. Google Chrome works best.
Log in with the Department of State issued account (state.gov) account
To log in with your State.gov account navigate to ADS Home Site and click on 'Sign in' at the right upper corner.
A little drop down appears on the screen and you click on the first option 'State Department Issued account'
On an Opennet workstation in your office this works with single-sign-on and you need nothing to enter.
If you log in from a laptop or home workstation you can use your badge or your two-way-authentication will ask you to enter your information or Microsoft will cal you, depends on the way you set it up.
Log in with the ADG issued (Departmentofstate.onmircosoft.com) account
To log in with your ADG Issued Microsoft account navigate to ADS Home Site and click on 'Sign in' at the right upper corner.
A little drop down appears on the screen and you click on the second option 'ADG Issued Mircosoft account'
Enter your account name and your password.
