Voiding a BOC Follow

Voiding a Bill Of Collection (BOC)

If any mistakes are made to a BOC after its creation, you can opt to void the BOC to cancel all charges related to the bill while keeping it in the system for reference. BOCs with the following statuses can be voided: Draft, Submitted, and Open. 

Steps to Void a BOC

1. Click the green Edit button. This will direct you to the example shown in the image above. 
2. Click the Ellipses drop down and choose Void Bill. 
3. Enter a comment stating your reason for voiding the BOC. 
4. Click Void. 
5. The BOC's status will be changed to Voided and you will be returned to the Search Bills screen. 

With a voided BOC, you have the options below

Cancel 

1. Click Cancel to return to the My Initiated Bills page. 

Save

1. Click Save to capture any changes made.
