Updating My Profile Details

ATLAS Profile users receive an automated email every 90 days to log in to ATLAS Profile to confirm or update their profile details. If there are any details that need updating, now is the time to make these updates so that they reflect across all connected ATLAS applications. Below is a step-by-step guide to assist users through the profile updating process:

1. Navigate to ATLAS Profile by typing profile.state.gov into the search bar
   • This will require Okta authentication
2. Click the Update Now button in the My Profile section on the left side of the Home page

3. Verify your First Name, Middle Initial, Last Name, and Work Email fields are correct.
   • If you notice any discrepancies with any of these details, please contact the IT Service Center for support.
4. Populate all applicable phone number fields on the Update My Profile: Contact Info page

5. Click Next
6. Enter all Work Location details for your current position on the Update My Profile: Work Location page
   • The details entered on this page will determine the fields on the next page, the fields may appear differently for different employment types.

7. Click Next
8. Enter all Assignment Information details for your current assignment on the Update My Profile: Assignment Info page

9. Click Next
10. Review all details on the My Profile Review page
    • If you notice any discrepancies, click Back to make further changes
    • If all data has been updated correctly, click Submit

11. Once submitted, your profile details have been saved and will display on the My Profile preview page. These details can be viewed by clicking the My Profile button from the top NavBar.
