Accepting Tentative Assignments

When an REA is tentatively assigned to a position by a Bureau Coordinator, the REA will receive an email notifying them that they have been assigned to a position and they must log in to the READY application to accept or deny the position.

Accepting or Denying a Position

As an REA, once logged into READY, the assignments that are pending review will appear at the top of the page.

To view additional details of the pending assignment, click the Information (i) icon at the left of the assignment title. Once the details of the assignment have been reviewed, click Accept or Deny in the assignment box.

Once an assignment has been accepted or denied the assignment, the Bureau Coordinator(s) will receive an email notifying them of the status of the assignment. If accepted, the timesheet for that assignment will become available when the start date approaches.

For additional help, please contact ISC at Post or ADG Support by selecting the ‘Submit a request’ button at the top of the page or by emailing adg-support@state.gov.
