After You've Paid Your Bill, Now What?

As a Recipient, you are able to pay your Bill of Collection (BOC) according to the payment instructions included on your BOC notification email(s).  Follow your post's payment instructions carefully.  After making your payment through pay.gov, with cash, etc., you'll need to inform your post's Cashier (or Collection Clerk) of your payment.

Informing Post of BOC Payment

Take your receipt, likely from pay.gov, to your post's Cashier.  The Cashier/Collection Clerk will then document your payment in ATLAS Financials.  Once payment has been documented in the application, a system-generated email notification will be sent with your OF-158 payment receipt and a notification that your bill has been officially paid and closed.

REMINDER FOR POST:

In your Payment Instructions, please include the steps a Recipient must take to inform the Collection Clerk that payment has been made.
