The Purpose of the CGFS Dashboard
CGFS personnel are now able to access the ATLAS Financials – Accounts Receivable module which allows them to address Bills of Collection (BOC) which have been referred to them by post.
User Roles
There are three CGFS user roles in ATLAS Financials. Your Dashboard may look different from another CGFS user's dashboard, depending on the role(s) assigned to you. The three roles are:
- CGFS Accounts Receivable Branch: The CGFS Accounts Receivable Branch role will handle BOCs, excluding medical BOCs, referred to CGFS.
- CGFS Medical Branch: The CGFS Medical Branch role will handle medical BOCs referred to CGFS.
- Permission Manager: The Permission Manager role will manage user profiles, such as creating, editing, and deleting users.
An Overview of the CGFS Dashboard
When CGFS personnel launch ATLAS Financials*, the Dashboard will open. On the Dashboard are two tiles:
- Pending CGFS Approval
- Approved by CGFS
*Users can access ATLAS Financials on their Okta dashboard.
Pending CGFS Approval Tile
When the A/R Tech or FMO refers a BOC to CGFS within the ATLAS Financials application, you will receive an email notification including the link to launch ATLAS Financials. Once this notification is sent, the referred BOC will be in the status of Open – Sent to CGFS.
Clicking on the blue Pending CGFS Approval tile will open the page where you can view BOCs in the Open status. To view the referred BOC, click on the magnifying glass icon on the far right column.
Approved by CGFS Tile
Clicking on the Approved by CGFS tile will display BOCs referred to CGFS and which have been recorded in ATLAS Financials as accepted/approved by CGFS. You will have permission to view the details of the BOC, including the attachments associated with the BOC.
