READY Release Notes v 1.4.0
LE Exec/New Features/Changes/General Fixes:
- Implemented a new resource type and coordinator role, designed to manage a diverse range of resources more effectively, improve coordination, and support scalable, streamlined operations.
- LE Exec (Resource): This role is designated for individuals assigned to LE Exec-specific positions. LE Exec Resources are the personnel who fulfill requests and assignments coordinated through the LE Exec workflow. This role can only be managed and dispatched by LE Exec Coordinators. * LE Exec Resources are not visible or accessible to REA and Rover Coordinators. *
- LE Exec Coordinator: This role is distinct and dedicated to managing only the LE Exec resources. LE Exec Coordinators are responsible for dispatching, tracking, and coordinating LE Exec-related requests. * REA and Rover Coordinators are unable to view LE Exec resources, requests, and positions. *
- Implemented a unique, restricted-access URL for the LE Exec Corp Submission form, accessible only to LE Exec Coordinators and Posts for enhanced accessibility and control. The form can be accessed at: Ready.state.gov/LEexec/request
- Implemented new automated email templates for LE Exec members, allowing them to CC their supervisors, whose information is stored in their profile for streamlined communication.
- Streamlined the resource creation and request forms for LE Exec Corp members by removing unnecessary fields and retaining only essential information to improve usability and reduce input time.
- Streamlined the Reporting section for LE Exec Coordinator by removing unnecessary information and reports for LE Exec Corp members, ensuring they only see relevant data and tools needed for their role.
- Implemented a “Days Worked” report page under the Reporting section, allowing coordinators to track the number of days a LE Exec resource has worked. This helps monitor usage, especially as resources typically avoid exceeding 15 days.
- Implemented a red warning on the Assignment page when a LE Exec resource has worked more than 15 days. This serves as a courtesy alert to LE Exec Coordinators to help prevent overuse, though it does not block further assignment.
- Implemented the LE Exec Coordinator role to customize submission instructions specific to LE Exec Request forms, ensuring clear and relevant guidance.
REA/Rover Coordinator Fixes/Features:
- Implemented support for customizable email subject lines, allowing coordinators to insert variables for easier identification and alignment between assigned and desired resources.
- Updated the title of the 'Documents section’ page to 'Supporting Information' for improved clarity and consistency over all permissions.
- Fixed an issue where required fields were missing the standard asterisk (*) indicator when adding a new resource. Also resolved a bug that incorrectly triggered validation messages for optional fields, such as showing a "required" error for the Phone Number field.
- Fixed an issue on the Assignments page where the status column did not automatically update after finalizing an assignment. The correct status now appears without requiring a manual page refresh.
- Fixed an issue where the Submit Request button was unresponsive in the Coordinator and Post sections, even when all required fields were completed.
- Fixed an issue on the Dashboard > Request Edit page where canceling a request through the Bureau triggered an error and failed to complete the cancellation.
- Implemented updates to the Supporting Information page to ensure required fields are properly indicated. The "Choose from folder" field now displays an asterisk (*).
- Fixed an issue where coordinator emails were still being sent to users even after their coordinator role had been deleted.
- Fixed an issue where attempting to create a new Rover resource triggered a toast message stating "Error occurred" and blocked the creation process.
- Updated the instruction verbiage on the New Profile page: changed "REA Profile" to "Resource Profile" for better clarity across all permission levels.
- Fixed an issue where the Address field appeared empty on the Edit Resource Profile page after successfully creating and saving a new resource with an address.
- Fixed an issue where the “Cancel this Request” button was visible and clickable when creating a new request before submission. The button is now hidden or disabled until the request has been submitted.
- Fixed an issue where the assignment card status incorrectly displayed "Pending REA Acceptance" regardless of the resource type. The status now correctly reads "Pending Resource Acceptance" for better clarity and consistency across all resource types.
- Fixed an issue where the resource type or role was updated via the View/Edit Resource Profile page, and the change was not reflected on the User Management page.
- Updated wording on the Assignments page to improve clarity and consistency by replacing all instances of "personnel" with "resource."
Resource Fixes/Features:
- Updated the title of the 'Documents section’ page to 'Supporting Information' for improved clarity and consistency over all permissions.
- Updated the instruction verbiage on the New Profile page: changed "REA Profile" to "Resource Profile" for better clarity across all permission levels.
- Fixed an issue where the Address field appeared empty on the Edit Resource Profile page after successfully creating and saving a new resource with an address.
- Fixed an issue where the toast message incorrectly displayed 'Assignment sent to REA for consideration' when tentatively assigning a resource, even if the resource type was not REA.
- Updated wording on profile pages for clarity and consistency by replacing "REA Experience" with "Resource Experience" to ensure uniform terminology across all resource types.
Post Fixes/Features:
- Implemented a unique, restricted-access URL for the LE Exec Corp Submission form, accessible only to LE Exec Coordinators and Posts for enhanced accessibility and control. The form can be accessed at: Ready.state.gov/LEexec/request
