Release Notes v1.6.0

New Feature:

• Classified Ads

  • We are excited to introduce the new Classified Ads feature, enabling Content Managers to post Classified advertisements on behalf of community members. They can add items for Sale, promote products or services or allow people to make recommendations within the application.

  • Navigate to Content Management > Classifieds.

• • Users with Content Manager permissions can now create and manage Classified Ads directly within the ATLAS Welkom Center.

  • Create new ads by providing detailed information, including the title, description, category, contact information, optional images, and customization options for ad visibility and expiration date.

• Classified Categories

  • Content Managers now have the ability to customize Classified Categories beyond the three default categories.

  • Navigate to Content Management > Classified Categories.

• • On the Classified Categories page, users will see the default categories along with two additional customizable categories, which in this example are named 'Other' and 'Sporting Events'.

Tip: These are the only categories you can rename or disable.

• • A toggle switch labeled Enable Classifieds is located at the top right corner of the panel, allowing users to quickly enable or disable all classified categories.

• Generate QR Code

  • The Events page now includes a feature that allows users to generate a QR code, which can be shared with others. This feature enables users to scan or download the QR code, providing a link to view a specific event.

Enhancements:

• Site
  • A word counter has been added to the Message field.

• • Note: In the Message field, the correct configuration settings now ensure that copying and moving images from local sources or the web is effectively prevented.

Miscellaneous

• Release v1.6.0 includes additional bug fixes:

  • Added Classified Ads permissions to the Content Manager role.

  • Added functionality to automatically include Classified Categories when setting up a new site, with these categories disabled by default.

  • Fixed the inconsistency where Newsletters are displayed differently on both the homepage and the More Newsletters page when the IsPublic toggle is ON.

  • Added the ability to view full event details in the Event Calendar month view.

  • Renamed the "Request EFM Access" button to "Request Non State Account" and updated the text on the Account Management page from "Request EFM Access" to "Request Access."
  • Completely removed the search feature from both Categories and Classified Categories pages.
  • Fixed an issue on the Newsletters page where the default date was set to January 1, 0001 if no Published Date was specified.

• Any additional follow-up on ServiceNow support tickets will come from the ADG Support Team.
