Introduction

Navigating to Service Provider Groups

First, login to ATLAS Workflows. Once you've authenticated using your credentials, click on the Administration tab in the top right-hand corner of your screen.  NOTE: You may not have access to this tab if your superiors have not granted you the necessary permissions.

Navigating Service Provider Groups

Welcome to the Manage Groups menu. There isn't too much you have to worry about here, but it's still important to know what everything does.

  1. Actions: These are for making new groups.
    • Add New Group: This allows you to create a new Service Provider Group.
    • Export Groups: This allows you to export selected groups to your device's files.
    • Import Groups: This allows you to import saved groups from your device's files.
  2. Search: This allows you to search for specific groups.
  3. Settings: These are for editing pre existing groups.
    • Users: This takes you to the Users Menu, more on that later.
    • Permissions: This takes you to the Permissions Menu, more on that later.
    • Edit: These are for editing the external properties of an existing group.
      • Edit Group Name: This allows you to change the group name.
      • Delete Group: This allows you to permanently delete a group.

Managing Group Members

If you click on Add New Group, you'll have to choose the name of your new group, but after that, you'll enter the Permissions menu, as seen below on the left. This is one of two menus, the other being the Users Menu as seen below on the right, through which you can manage your group members. You can toggle between the two menus by clicking on either View Users or View Permissions.

Group Permissions

This is where you can edit the Permissions of whatever Service Providers you choose to add to your group. By clicking on Edit Permissions, you should have the option to change the status of different types of permissions. Remember to click Save after editing the group's permissions.

Group Users

This is where you can add or remove Service Providers from your group.  By clicking on Add User, you should have the option to search for a user and refine your search with Filters. Once you find who you're looking for, click Select. Remember that you can always Add or Remove as many Service Providers as you like.

Individual User Permissions

In the event that a specific Service Provider needs more permissions than the ones they inherited from the group, their permissions can be assigned by clicking on the View User Permissions icon located in the Group Users Menu, as seen in Box 1. Doing so will take you to the User Permissions menu where you can either Edit the Permissions of or Delete a Service Provider, as seen in Box 2.
