Release Notes v1.2.0

New Features:

• New UI
  • Enhanced the overall user experience with a modernized and more intuitive interface.
  • Users must now check the "I understand and accept" box and click the Accept button in the Disclaimer window to proceed with the application.
  • The left-hand menu has been updated, with the selected menu item now highlighted for better visibility.
  • Simplified the footer links for easier navigation and fixed previously broken links for a smoother experience.
• Import Contacts
  • Drafters and Post Administrators can now easily import external contact lists:
    • Download the Contacts template directly from the DipNotes Application.
    • Complete the required fields in the template.
    • Upload the completed template back into the aplication.

Enhancements:

• • Enhanced search
    • Improved multi-column search queries in a single textbox for a quicker and more accurate results.
      • Renaming MAILROOM/RCVR
        • Posts can now request the renaming of the "MAILROOM/RCVR" receiver role by contacting the global administrator or ADG Support.
      • Filter by Drafter
        • The My Outgoing DipNotes section now includes a filter option by Drafter name, allowing for faster and more focused search results.

      

      • Delete notes for deactivated posts
        • This feature deletes all incoming or outgoing notes after a Post has been deactivated from the application.
      • Published outgoing notes that are SMART Pending/MRN Pending
        • When connected via OpenNet, GoVirtual or GoDesktop:
          • If an official note is attached: The Drafter or Post Administrator can choose to archive the note to SMART or manually enter the MRN.
          • If there is no official attachment: The only available option will be manual MRN entry by the Drafter or Post Administrator.
          
        • When connected via internet/DIN:
          
          • The only available option is to enter the MRN manually.

• Miscellaneous:

  • Release v1.2.0 includes additional bug fixes:
    
    • Fixed the timestamp display issue in the Remarks window.
    • Fixed the timestamp display issue in the Date Received column under the Distributing menu. 
    • Fixed an error when transferring a note to another post or mission.
    • Fixed an issue in the Receiving menu where an error is received when the Upload button was clicked without selecting a file.
    • Fixed typographical and grammatical errors across the application.
    • Fixed loading issue in the Notifications menu.
    • Extended the length of the Starting DipNote Number textbox.
