Release Notes v1.2.1

New Features and Enhancements:

• New UI
  • Enhanced the overall user experience with a modernized and more intuitive interface.
  • Simplified filters that are easier to understand and apply
  • Added a View File (eye icon) next to all document and attachment entries for better file access
• Captions
  • Added a new 'Captions Management' menu in the Admin menu, allowing global administrators to view the list of captions and edit their order and descriptions.
  • When a diplomatic note is classified as Sensitive But Unclassified, the SENSITIVE caption is automatically added to the list of captions tagged in the note.
  • When the diplomatic note is tagged as PII, the classification is automatically updated to Sensitive But Unclassified and the SENSITIVE caption is added to the dipnote information.
  • If the user unchecks the PII field, the SENSITIVE caption is removed from the captions list of the diplomatic note, if applicable.
• Imported Diplomatic Notes
  • When a diplomatic note is imported, the official filename is now displayed based on what information was uploaded from the template.

Miscellaneous:

• Release v1.2.1 includes additional bug fixes:

  • Extended the character limit for Group Names, resolving an issue where the group name wasn’t automatically created when the office name was too long.
  • Updated text "Action Office" to "PII Offices" in My Outgoing DipNotes information page to maintain uniformity.
  • Fixed date field validator in the Outgoing DipNotes information page.
  • Fixed the discrepancy in displaying the number of outgoing notes with status SMART Pending when using the filter versus the number badge next to My Outgoing DipNotes in the left navigation.
  • Resolved an issue allowing access to deactivated posts.
  • Fixed a problem where users had to click Back to Page multiple times for the confirmation window to close when a new outgoing Dipnote Number is assigned.
  • Fixed the filter display issue on
    • My Outgoing DipNotes page.
    • Contacts Menu.
  • Added checkboxes in the Info Group window under My Incoming DipNotes information page.
  • Fixed an issue causing a crash when deleting a template.
  • Fixed an issue where editing existing older contact records did not work, and resolved a validation bug that allowed updates to proceed even when the required email address was removed.
  • Fixed the error message issue when opening the Users menu.
  • Resolved a crash when using the Search function on the Action Office page.
  • Fixed an issue where the Distributing page would freeze after downloading a file.
  • Fixed an issue where the Date Received field is changed to "01/01/0001" when the diplomatic note is transferred to a new post.
  • Changed "Date Sent" to "Send Date" on the My Outgoing DipNotes Information page.
  • Fixed the inaccurate display of filter count on the Filters window in the Note Repository.
  • Updated the Search text field placeholder to "Search Receiving Notes" in the Receiving menu.
