Introduction
This article will help users navigate the Tag feature within the ATLAS Directory, which includes creating new tags, assigning them to users, and searching for users using tags.
Accessing the Tags page
Navigate to Administration > Manage Tags.
Users will be redirected to the Manage Tags page. This page displays a list of all tags.
Adding a Tag
To create a new tag, click the + Create New button at the top of the page.
Enter the details of the new tag.
- Name: Enter a unique name for the tag.
- Description: Add a description to provide more context about the tag.
Select the Save Changes button to add the new tag, or select the Cancel button to disregard changes and return to the Manage Tags page.
The new tag will be displayed on the Manage Tags page.
Editing and Deleting a Tag
From the Manage Tags page, click the Edit icon to make any edits to a previously created tag, or click the Ellipses to Delete the tag.
To edit an existing tag, click the Edit icon (pencil) next to the tag name you want to modify.
Update the tag information.
Click Save to apply the changes. If you do not wish to save the changes, click Cancel to discard any modifications.
Assigning Tags to Users
To assign a tag to a specific user or contact, navigate to Contacts > Employees.
Search for or select the employee and click Edit.
Navigate to the user's Assignment Information page. In the Tags field, click to add an existing tag.
Once the appropriate tag is selected, ensure it is saved, and the tag will now be linked to this user.
Note: Users can also add tags to External Contacts, Locations, and Household Members (EFM & MOH).
Searching for Users Using Tags
To filter and find users based on assigned tags, go to the Directory Dashboard and click the Advanced Search link.
In the pop-up window, scroll down to the Tag field. Enter the tag you wish to search for.
The Directory will now show only users associated with that specific tag.
