User must be connected via OpenNet, GoVirtual or GoDesktop AND must have an active SMART account

Introduction 

If a user clicks on PUBLISH and is connected via OpenNet, GoVirtual, or GoDesktop and has an active SMART account, the application automatically connects to SMART to upload the diplomatic note and retrieve the MRN.

However, if a user published a diplomatic note while connected via DIN or internet, the application will update the status of the diplomatic note to PUBLISHED, however the MRN will not be retrieved.

Retrieving the MRN of Incoming Diplomatic Notes 

Click on My Incoming DipNotes from the left side navigation and from the list, select a diplomatic note with a Status of Published and Smart Status as Pending.

From the Reading Incoming DipNote page, click on the ARCHIVE TO SMART button.

Retrieving an MRN From Outgoing Diplomatic Notes 

Click on My Outgoing DipNotes from the left side navigation and select a diplomatic note with a Status of Published and Smart Status as SMART Pending.

From Viewing Outgoing DipNote <DipNote Number> page, click on ARCHIVE TO SMART button.
