Daily Sync

  • Frequency: The synchronization will occur twice daily (every 12 hours).

    • During each daily sync, the ATLAS Directory will receive and update entries from SAFE. The following fields will be synchronized:
      • Phone Numbers
      • Email Addresses
      • Radio Call Sign
    • Note: This daily sync will not update other profile information nor will it delete any existing entries in the ATLAS Directory.

Data on SAFE Not Imported into ATLAS Directory

  • The following fields from SAFE will not be imported into the ATLAS Directory:
    • Username
    • TDY (Yes/No)
    • Warden (Yes/No)
    • Warden Neighborhood
    • Organizational Hierarchy: This is a custom field specific to the individual post or mission's SAFE instance, and it cannot be provided to the ATLAS Directory via the API.
    • SAFE User ID
    • Post Type (Embassy, Consulate, Consular Agency, Domestic, Other, or Virtual Presence Post)
    • Agency
    • Section Head (Yes/No)
    • Comments

Additional Notes

  • Section Names Customization: If a post customizes section names in the ATLAS Directory differently from those used in SAFE, newly added users may be assigned incorrect section names. To avoid this issue, adjust the SAFE Synchronization Settings to configure the Import SAFE Employee Section option to either "Import Only if Exists" or "Do Not Import".
