Introduction

The Email Log tracks system-generated email notifications, allowing you to monitor email delivery statuses.

How to Access the Email Log

Navigate to Administration > Email Log.

The interface will display the email activity.

  • First Attempt: The date and time when the email was queued.
  • Email: The type of email (e.g., "Radio Check Event Notification").
  • Recipient: The recipient's name or email address.
  • Retries: Number of attempts made to send the email.
  • Error: Displays any error message if the email failed to send.
  • Last Attempt: Shows the time of the last sending attempt.

Filtering Email Logs

  • From/To: Use these fields to filter emails sent within a specific date range.
  • Recipient: Filter emails by recipient's name or email address.
  • Email Type: Use the drop-down to select the type of email you want to view.
  • Has Errors: Toggle this option to view only emails that encountered errors.

Resending Emails

If an email failed to send or encountered an error, users have the option to resend it.

A user can use the checkbox next to the failed email to select it, or select multiple emails if necessary.

Once the failed emails are selected, click the Resend Selected button at the top right of the email log.

This action will attempt to send the email(s) again.

Exporting Email Logs

Similar to the Directory Log, you can export email log data by choosing:

  • Excel: Export email logs to an Excel file.
  • CSV: Export the log to a CSV format.
  • Copy: Copy the log details to your clipboard.
