Release Notes v2.3.9

Enhancements:

  • Position Information Now Optional in Registration and New Employee Creation
    • Position information is no longer required during registration or when creating new employees. Users can now proceed without specifying a position.

  • Moving a Task from One Task Group to Another Task Group (Sub-Workflow)
    • Users can now move tasks between task groups within a sub-workflow, allowing them to rearrange tasks as needed.

Miscellaneous

  • Release v2.3.9 includes additional improvements and changes:

    • Okta Account Linking
      • Fixed an issue where newly added users couldn’t log in directly to workflows.state.gov without admin roles, and the Okta Email field wasn’t populated. Okta accounts are now properly linked to Workflows accounts upon new user creation.
    • Workflow Removal Redirection
      • Resolved an issue where removing a workflow from the My Workflows page redirected users to the Assignment Details page. Users are now redirected back to the My Workflows page after removing a workflow.
    • New Employee Creation (Delegated Users)
      • Fixed an issue that prevented adding new employees who were previously delegated users. New employees can now be added without issues, even if they were previously delegated.
    • Position Management via Import Spreadsheet
      • Resolved an issue that prevented Post/Office users with permission to manage positions from adding new positions via the import spreadsheet. Users can now successfully import positions using this method.
    • Reset Workflow Functionality
      • Fixed an issue where the Reset Workflow button was visible to all users and reset the entire workflow. Users can now reset only their individual tasks, not the full workflow.
    • Email Notifications for Departure Date Changes
      • Fixed an issue where multiple email notifications were sent for changes to departure dates. Notifications are now sent correctly for these changes.
  • Any additional follow-up on ServiceNow support tickets will come from the ADG Support Team.
