Residence Profile Overview

The Residence Profile module is one of the most essential components of the ATLAS Housing Application. It is designed to simplify and support multiple steps in the housing assignment process by centralizing critical property information in one place, reducing administrative burden and enhancing transparency

Importance of Complete RPA Data

To ensure the Residence Profile functions as intended, it is crucial that all relevant data is complete and up to date in the Real Property Application (RPA). The accuracy and completeness of RPA data directly impact what users can see and do within the module.

For optimal performance and full functionality, we strongly encourage local teams to review and maintain the completeness of their RPA records regularly.

Key Features for Local Administrators

Local administrators will have access to the following functionalities:

  • View RPA Data: Display residence-related information such as residence type, ID, number of rooms, net/gross size, lease details, rent amount, and more. Highlighting the importance of having RPA data complete in the Real Property Application in order for this to properly work

  • Map Visualization: View the geographic location of each property on the map, assuming accurate latitude and longitude data is present in RPA.

  • Initiate Key Processes: Start and manage key housing processes including Commissioning, Make Ready, and Decommissioning.

Attachments Section

The Attachments feature allows administrators to efficiently manage supporting documents associated with each residence.

To access and manage attachments:

  • Click the blue ATTACHMENTS button in the top-right corner of the Residence Profile screen.

  • Local administrators can upload a variety of file types, including PDFs, Microsoft Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, URLs, and more.

Types of Attachments:

  • Residence Attachments: Uploaded by local administrators

  • Current Occupant Attachments: Uploaded by the current resident

  • Other Occupant Attachments: Uploaded by previous or departed residents

Administrators can add, download, update/edit, and delete attachments as needed.

Adding Photos

This functionality allows local administrators to upload and manage photos of properties in the housing pool. These images play a key role in supporting various tasks at Post, such as:

  • Housing Assignments: IAHB members can perform virtual tours directly within the application, significantly reducing the need for in-person property visits, saving time and resources.

  • Property Overview: View the residence's location on the map.

To manage photos:

  • Click the "View Photos" link on the Residence Profile screen

  • Use the blue ADD button to upload images (up to 50MB at a time)

  • Use the blue EDIT button to rename photos, delete them, or rearrange their order for optimal viewing

For the Residence Profile module to be most effective, we kindly ask that local administrators keep their RPA data complete and accurate. Doing so ensures a smoother experience for all users and maximizes the benefits of the ATLAS Housing App.
