What to Do When Post Requested ATLAS Housing Deployment but Stopped Using the App

If your Post previously requested ATLAS Housing but stopped using the app, don’t worry! Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to help you get back on track.

Step 1: Confirm App Reactivation with General Services Officer (GSO)

The first thing to do is to reach out to the ADG support team and the App Lead, Maria Pineda.

Email:

In your email, please:

  • Introduce yourself with your name, position, and office

  • Explain that you want to reactivate ATLAS Housing usage at your Post

The ADG Team will check your previous deployment request and guide you on the next steps. Once your deployment is confirmed, they will contact the General Services Officer at your Post to get official confirmation to restart the process.

Step 2: Update Housing Pool and Manage Local Settings

After receiving confirmation from the GSO, ADG will update your Housing Inventory through the Real Property Application (RPA). To help speed things up, please make sure your RPA data is current.

To avoid confusion, ADG will temporarily turn off your email notifications through the Manage Local Settings tab.

Your responsibilities:

  • Keep your Housing Pool updated regularly using the RPA SOP

  • When you’re ready to fully start using the app again, turn your email notifications back on

  • We recommend coordinating with your Management Office to issue a Management Notice announcing the app’s usage

Note: Please do NOT update the Occupants data without updating the Housing Pool first

Step 3: Update Current Occupants’ Details in the App

Once your Housing Pool is updated, it’s time to update occupant information. This has to be done manually by local administrators at your Post.

You’ll need to update:

  • Residence statuses

  • Move-in and move-out dates

  • Occupant statuses

How to update occupant info:

  1. Go to the Overview menu

  2. Click on Reporting

  3. Select Invalid Status Report

  4. Click Create

  5. Click on the + Sign next to the date

  6. Update each officer’s details one by one, including:

    • Assignment Status

    • Residence Status

    • Arrival Date

    • Departure Date

  7. Click Update Information to save changes

Step 4: Add New Occupants

After updating existing occupant information, you can start adding new occupants and officially assign residences within the app. For detailed instructions, please refer to the related articles linked below.
