New Features and Improvements

Housing Pool Improvements

  • Residences can now be deleted from the Housing Pool in ATLAS Housing without following the RPA SOP.
  • Deleted residences will be displayed on a newly created “Deleted Residences” page.
  • Local administrators can easily review and reinstate deleted residences back into the Housing Pool if needed.

 

 

Housing Questionnaire Improvements

  • A new feature allows local administrators and HQ managers to view previous versions of the Housing Questionnaire. Please note that version number should be manually entered.
  • This functionality supports better onboarding by allowing review of past questionnaires for Incoming Officers to Post.

     

 

 

Additional fields have been added to the Vehicles section, improving communication between occupants and the GSO Shipping & Customs Office.

 

Housing Assignment and IAHB Improvements

  • When the Moved-In status is set for an occupant, their status will automatically update from “Incoming” to “At Post”, streamlining the process and keeping records accurate without extra steps.

  • When an occupant’s status changes to Outgoing and they are marked as Departed, the residence status will automatically update to Move-Out, ensuring timely and consistent updates across the system.

  • ATLAS Housing now synchronizes all assignment dates (Tour dates with Moved-in and Moved-out dates) 

     

Once the Housing Assignment is done whether managed through the residence's or occupant's profile, Local administrators:

  • Can mark assignments as Assigned to Residence” to officially finalize the process and as optional they can select to send an email notification to the Incoming Officer

IAHB members, Local administrators and Housing Board Organizer role can view detailed descriptions of issues related to residences under recommendation during the assignment process, aiding in more informed decision-making.

We hope this improvement makes your setup process smoother and more efficient.

 

Processes Improvements (Make Ready, Commissioning and Decommissioning)

New Feature: Day and Length Input in Process Configuration

On the Process Configuration page, you can now directly enter the start day and end day for tasks instead of adjusting task lengths by dragging them on the Gantt chart. This enhancement allows for faster and more precise scheduling.

For example:
To move the RSO VAR Request task from Day 7 to Day 8:

  1. Click the three dots next to the task name.

  2. Select Edit.

  3. Manually enter the new Start Day and End Day values.

  4. Click Update, then click Save Changes to apply your edits.

Email notifications in the Processes

  • Process Triggers for Assignment Status will now affect Tandem Assignments
  • Task Notifications for New Individual Tasks

Users can now create task notifications for new individual tasks within Processes. Previously, notifications worked only for tasks created through Process Configuration. This update gives you more flexibility to stay informed about all task activities.

Edit Incoming and Outgoing Occupant for Make Readies

You can now update the Incoming/ Outgoing occupant directly within a Make Ready task without needing to delete and recreate it. This saves time and simplifies managing occupancy changes.

What does this mean?

  • The incoming occupant is anyone who has a housing assignment for the residence that has not yet started.

  • The outgoing occupant is anyone who currently has a housing assignment at the residence that has not yet ended.

This improvement makes it easier to keep occupant information accurate during the make ready process

Bug Fixes and Optimization

Privacy and Access Control

  • Attachments related to residences and occupants are no longer visible to Housing Board members to protect personal information. However, they will still have full access to the Housing Questionnaire, residence location within the app, and photos of the residence.

Housing Questionnaire Management

  • Custom fields that have been deleted from the Configuration page can now be easily removed from published or active Housing Questionnaires, helping keep forms up to date and relevant.

Occupant and Residence Information

  • Information about residences is now accessible within the Departed Occupant’s chart, providing a complete history for easier reference.

Task and Process Enhancements

  • Make Ready Tasks can now be edited directly in Full Screen Process Mode, allowing for a more streamlined and user-friendly workflow.

Inspection Reports

  • Inspection reports have been reorganized for improved readability and easier navigation.

Housing Recommendations

  • Duplicate recommendations have been removed to ensure clarity and prevent confusion.

Warnings and Notifications

  • The Hold Warning Message feature has been reinstated. When a hold period is applied to a residence, a warning will pop up to inform local administrators that the residence is undergoing a process that may affect assignments.

Error Notifications

  • Error bubbles now appear throughout the app to promptly notify users of issues, such as when an occupant is already registered, helping prevent duplicate entries and errors.
