Bug Fixes

Housing Assignment Recommendations Details

Fix: Pet Count Now Displays Correctly in Housing Recommendations

We resolved an issue where the pet count was not displaying the correct number during the Housing Board recommendation process for housing assignments.

What Changed:

• Pet Count — The correct number of pets now displays accurately when reviewing Housing Board recommendations for housing assignments.

Housing Questionnaire

Fix: Custom Yes/No Fields Now Display Correctly

We resolved an issue where custom Yes/No fields within the Housing Questionnaire were displaying "0" instead of the correct selected option.

What Changed:

Custom Yes/No fields now display their correct values — Yes or No — across the following areas:

• Housing Questionnaire — Responses now reflect the accurate selected option

• Housing Pool — The Custom Score column now displays the correct Yes/No value

• Filters — Filtering by Yes/No custom fields now returns the correct results

Resident Portal

Fix: Profile Update Request Form is Back Up and Running!

We are happy to let you know that the issue with the Profile Update Request Form has been resolved. Users can now successfully submit profile update requests to the GSO Housing Office at Post such as grade changes without encountering an error. The form submission process works as expected from start to finish.

Who Was Affected:

Users attempting to submit a profile update request, such as a grade update, through the Profile Update Request window.

Housing Assignment Window

Finding and Assigning a Residence Just Got Easier!

Search & Alphabetized List

No more endless scrolling! You can now search for a residence directly in the dropdown menu, and the list is alphabetized so finding the right residence is quick and easy.

Tour Dates Now Visible

Tour dates are now displayed right in the Add Assignment window, no more sticky notes or separate spreadsheets! This helps you quickly identify the likely occupation date of a residence without ever leaving the page.

Set Residence Status in One Step

You can now update the residence status directly within the Add Assignment window. No more closing and reopening the form, everything you need is right there in one place!

Resident Portal

Housing Guidance & Reference Documents

The Resident Portal now includes a new feature that allows Posts to upload and share Housing Guidance & Reference Documents directly within every USDH Residential Portal page. This makes it easier to distribute important documents Mission-wide all in one convenient location.

Where to find it:

Configuration Menu → Manage Local Settings → Resident Portal Tab → Housing Guidance & Reference Documents

This feature can be enabled or disabled based on your Post's needs.

Housing Questionnaire

Default Comment Field Label Changed from "No Preference" to "No Comment"

We made a small but helpful update to the Housing Questionnaire. The default text in the comment field next to each housing preference has been changed from "No Preference" to "No Comment."

What does this mean for USDH when filling out the Housing Questionnaire?

If you rank a housing preference but leave the comment field blank, the system will now show "No Comment" instead of "No Preference." This ensures your ranked preferences are clearly understood by the GSO Housing Office and Housing Board.

Processes (Make Ready, Commissioning and Decommissioning)

Task History Button Enhancement

What Changed:

1. Button now visible on all processes — The Task History button will now display on all processes, including new ones with no history yet. Previously, the button was hidden when no history existed. A "No Data Found" message will appear when there is no history to display.

2. Button renamed to "Task History" — The button has been renamed from History to Task History to better describe its purpose and make it easier to understand at a glance.
