Overview
The Radio Configuration provides administrators with tools to manage Post’s radio inventory, assignments, and schedules for radio checks. Configuration settings determine how radio checks are recorded, calculated, and communicated to users via automated email notifications.
Accessing the Radio Inventory
To configure settings for Post’s radios, navigate to: Radio > Configuration.
Overview of the Interface
The Radio Configuration page provides the following options and settings:
Radio Checks Active
- Toggle switch to enable or disable active radio checks.
Success Calculation Mode
- Determines which response types are included in success calculations.
- Click Edit to change the success calculation mode.
- Available options include:
- Readable, Unreadable, Out of Town and Tried but No Contact
- Readable, Unreadable and Out of Town
- Readable and Unreadable Radio Checks
- Only Readable Radio Checks
Once the desired mode is selected, the Radio Call Sign Source Preference fields will be enabled.
Click Save Changes to apply the setting. To discard changes, select Cancel.
Managing Receipt Notification Settings
Click Email Templates (top-right of the page) to configure or update email text, placeholders, and formatting.
Administrators can configure automated email receipts for completed radio checks.
Send Radio Check Email Receipts
- Toggle Send Radio Check Email Receipts on or off.
- When enabled, users receive confirmation emails for their completed radio checks.
Additional Email Footer Text
- You can add custom text to appear in the footer of each email.
Email Preview
Displays a sample of the email that will be sent to users, including:
- User’s name
- Radio Number
- Call Quality Result (e.g., Loud and Clear, Broken but Readable)
- Receipt Code
- Footer Text
Footer Template Fields
Administrators can use template fields to dynamically insert data into emails.
Once all information is configured, click Save Changes to apply the settings. To discard changes, select Cancel.
Exporting Data
You can export the Radio Check Entries data using the available tools above the table:
- Excel: Download the full table in Excel format.
- CSV: Export data in CSV format.
- Copy: Copy data directly to your clipboard for pasting into another document.
- Columns: Customize which columns to display before exporting.
