Atlas Housing Improvements

Atlas Housing Roles Improvement

Occupant Basic Viewer Role: This role hides "view" questionnaire button that is available for Local administrators, Occupant manager, Occupant Viewer and Housing Board Member role in the Occupant's profile

In order to assign this role, please follow the steps below

  • Scroll down to Configuration Menu
  • Click on Access Control
  • Search the name of the person you will add or assign this role
  • Click on Add Role
  • Click on Save changes

They will be able to see the following information:

Dashboard

  • Upcoming Arrivals & Departures
  • Upcoming Move-in Dates
  • Upcoming Moved-out Dates
  • Recent IAHB Assignments
  • Occupant's profile

Occupants:

  • All Occupants
  • Incoming Occupants
  • Outgoing Occupants
  • In Temporary Quarters
  • Assigned Temporary Quarters
  • Departed Occupants

Note: They won't be able to perform any changes within the system

Housing Questionnaire Improvement

Primary and Secondary email have been enabled for USDH usage.

Some USDH do not have access to their state and non-state account while they are on Home Leave, Rest and Recuperation (R&R), Medical Leave or Position Change Station (PCS) for this reason ADG has added to the Housing Questionnaire the option to add a Primary and Secondary email. Please see image below

Occupants Improvements

User Login Control and login email report:

Post Local administrators will now be allowed to change the login email within Atlas Housing

The login email is the one used to register USDH in Atlas Housing

In order to do this, please follow the steps below:

  • Configuration Menu, click on "User Login Control"
  • Search the name of the person
  • Click on the icon right next to modified date column
  • Add the new Login email
  • Click on "Update email"

Once the login email has been updated, post local admin can verify if change was done repeating the steps mentioned above

 

Occupant Login Email Report:

  • Last login date can now be tracked in Atlas Housing by local administrators
  • Excel report is available, this will help local administrator to identify with which login email account Occupant’s has been registered in Atlas Housing

Report Example

Primary and Secondary email:

  • Primary and Secondary email are requested in the Housing Questionnaire as an option; meaning the USDH can decide to fill it out or not in order to be in communication with Post in case they do not have access to their state.gov or agency account while in Home Leave, Rest and Recuperation (R&R), Medical Leave or Position Change Station (PCS)
  • Local administrators can add an explanation about this in the Housing Questionnaire Instructions
  • Primary and Secondary email will be listed as alternative communication channel once the Housing questionnaire is approved
  • Any system email notifications will be redirected to these email address.
  • If none of them are provided by the USDH, all notifications will go to the login email, which is the email used to register the officer in Atlas Housing

If the USDH wants to disable receiving emails in the primary and secondary email addresses, he/she must follow the steps below:

  • Click on the right top corner of the screen where they name is displayed
  • Click on "Edit Settings"
  • Select one by one the from the dropdown menu "send" to "don't send" in order to stop receiving emails in these two emails

As an option Local administrators will be able to remove Primary and Secondary emails will default the user to receiving emails on their login email address

Empty Occupant's dates:

Below you will find a few examples as reference.

Post local administrators are in charge of keeping updated Atlas Housing data information.

"Not Set" has been displayed to identify missing dates that are critical for the Housings Assignment

This information is also helpful for other service providers at Post such as Finance Management Offices colleagues that keep record of the rental payment for example using the move-in and move-out date
